5th EU-LAC Joint Call in STI 2025

The EU-LAC Interest Group towards the Common Research Area launches a new Joint Call to enhance the bi-regional cooperation in Science, Technology and Innovation.

The aim of the Joint Call is to initiate sustainable and multilateral research cooperation between researchers from Europe, Latin-America and the Caribbean countries. Transnational consortia are invited to submit proposals related to six topics in the thematic fields of Global Challenges, Bioeconomy, Health, Energy and Open Science: (see call topics below). Projects will be funded for up to 36 months.

Proposals must be submitted online in English following the Guide for Applicants.

The application consists of two parts, the Project Description Template  form and the online submission form accessible at https://ptoutline.eu/app/5eulac_call2025

AEI: The minimum duration for AEI projects is 24 months

Due to budget restrictions CNPq won't be able to participate in the 5th EU-LAC Joint Call.
